The first visitors to the museum were interview by the FohlenTV team. The brand new 1,150m² exhibition gave some of the visitors “goosebumps” while others had “tears in their eyes.” Several people have already said they will be paying a return visit to the FohlenWelt in the near future. To the celebrate the official opening today, Borussia provided a series of accompanying activities in the courtyard including a bouncy castle, face painting for children as well as food and drink stalls. Normal stadium tours were also taking place and the FohlenShop in the new Borussia-8-Grad complex has also opened.
There was also overwhelming response to the new museum at the official opening on Friday, which included some Borussia legends. “You got some fantastic memories walking through the exhibition,” said Allan Simonsen. Christian Kulik added: “I’m firmly convinced that the fans will love the new museum.” Hang-Jörg Criens simply found the museum “sensational” while Günter Netzer believed it was “magnificent.” The museum closed today at 18:00 CEST.
